With numerous designs for data processing systems, Larry has been involved in the hardware, software and algorithm development for DSP applications in several different market areas, including military signal processing, pattern recognition and image processing.
Larry's career began developing numerical models as a CoOp student at Marshall Space Flight Center. These systems data collected from field instruments and then executed offline processing.
Similar systems were developed for processing or radiometry data.
Later, systems were developed for Airborne Reconnaissance which performed processing real time using onboard DSP systems in a truly embedded environment. Since then, Larry has designed a number of embedded systems implementing signal processing algorithms either with an embedded DSP or an embedded microcontroller. |
