In support of Check Imaging applications, Larry developed the requirements for a Check Image repository which allowed customers to access check images quickly and efficient. The server utilized Java to handle the business logic and JSP to control presentation layer data to make the system robust and flexible.
The server communicated with check imaging terminals deployed in merchant retail locations. The terminals would connect to the server, upload images. Once received, the server would verify the images were good.
The system utilized a MySQL database and implemented a robust permission system to control access to images to insure users could only see images associated with their merchants. This allowed a single server to support multiple processing entities without compromising data. |
